Selene Florez is the head trainer and owner of Chasing Life Dog Training. She has always had a soft spot for rescues and helping dogs find their forever homes. In 2012, an American Pitbull Terrier won over her heart with his high energy and unconditional love. Her personal journey overcoming Kailo’s behavioral issues led her to seek a career in dog training.

Selene has been a certified dog trainer for over six years. Prior to establishing Chasing Life Dog Training she was the owner/head trainer of a popular training franchise in Austin. She continues to expand her knowledge and strengthen her skills by regularly attending seminars led by experts across the country. Her passion is helping dog owners build a relationship with their dog focused on consistency, fairness, and clear communication.
